july, july! (the sequel)

Well, 2007 certainly is shaping up nicely. In the aftermath of The Decemberists' Stephen Colbert Counter-Challenge, their ex-label, Kill Rock Stars, will be releasing the band's first DVD on March 20.

The Decemberists: A Practical Handbook will contain an entire Decemberists show filmed at the Roseland Theater in Portland last November, as well as several extras (including the brilliant 16 Military Wives video). Pitchfork reports the setlist:
